WWE’s World Heavyweight Title holder, Gunther, reached out to ex-NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov following his recent injury. In the latest episode of RAW, announcer Joe Tessitore shared that Dragunov sustained injuries during a bout with Gunther over the weekend.
The broadcast showed a video from their recent bout, which took place on September 28 in Columbus, Georgia. Tessitore revealed that WWE medical staff informed him that Dragunov likely tore his ACL. Following the update, WWE announced that Dragunov’s absence could extend up to six to nine months.
