WWE Legend Claims Sami Zayn Perfectly Fits Into the Bloodline

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of wrestling fandom under my belt, I must admit that this Bloodline saga has me hooked like never before! The intricate storytelling and character development are reminiscent of classic WWE storylines from yesteryears.

In a recent development, WWE has brought Sami Zayn into the ongoing conflict between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, which is popularly known as the Bloodline feud. A few weeks back on WWE RAW, Zayn became part of the storyline. He expressed doubts about Jey Uso’s intentions to make peace with Roman Reigns, pointing out their complex history.

At the event, Jey Uso brushed off Sami Zayn’s presence, stating that he wouldn’t get it because he’s not part of the family. Later on during the broadcast, Jimmy Uso observed Zayn conversing with Solo Sikoa. Both Jimmy and Jey Uso appeared displeased upon seeing Zayn with Sikoa.

At the WWE Crown Jewel 2024 event, Sami Zayn ultimately stepped in to support the founding members of the Bloodline – the Uso brothers and Roman Reigs. However, an unexpected turn of events occurred when Solo Sikoa was surrounded by all four. In quick succession, Reigns readied a Superman Punch for Sikoa while Zayn geared up for a Helluva Kick. Unfortunately, Sikoa managed to evade the attacks, leading to Zayn inadvertently striking Reigns instead.

Afterward, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns are currently at odds with Zayn. The original Bloodline’s reunification seems imminent. However, in spite of this tension, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has expressed his backing for Zayn, stating that he is a great fit for the faction and that the reunion would not be whole without him as an honorary Uce.

Rikishi on Sami Zayn in The Bloodline: ‘One piece that’s missing’

On his podcast, Rikishi the WWE Hall of Famer, spoke about Sami Zayn’s position in The Bloodline. He praised Zayn for fitting seamlessly into the group and added that the founding members of the faction are irreplaceable.

He stated, “I think Sami Zayn fits exactly into the Bloodline. You can never replace the originals. So if we go back a few years or so, we talk about the original Bloodline. So there’s that one piece that’s missing now…The fans want to see Sami there.”

At the latest episode of RAW, Jey Uso extended an invitation to Sami Zayn to join WWE SmackDown for a family conversation with Roman Reigns and others. With anticipation building among fans, they are excitedly looking forward to the reunion of the original group.
