Previously crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker is set for an astonishing match against Jey Uso following their altercation on RAW. A few weeks back, Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship was taken by Uso, despite Breakker maintaining a strong 51-day title reign. To everyone’s surprise, Uso managed to unseat him as champion.
Following the victory celebration, Bron Breakker interjected, offering a heartfelt congratulations and displaying respect towards Jey Uso. Their handshake was cordial with little tension present. This act seems to have transformed Breakker into a more sympathetic character, or “babyface.” He later approached Gunther backstage, hinting at a potential challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, suggesting a possible shift in his rivalry dynamics.
This week on WWE RAW, Breakker took an unexpected action. Following Jey Uso‘s win over Xavier Woods, Breakker invaded the ring and assaulted Uso. Kofi Kingston attempted to protect Uso but was overpowered by Breakker, who also speared Woods outside the ring while Kingston was watching on.
It is now evident that Bron Breakker is far from finished with Jey Uso and has his sights set on reclaiming the Intercontinental title. Amidst this, WWE announced a surprising matchup for Breakker.
Bron Breakker set to compete in WWE Speed tournament
Just announced by WWE, here’s the layout for their fresh Speed Number One Contender Tournament. Interestingly enough, Bron Breakker has been included in this competition. Although it’s known he hasn’t wrapped up his feud with Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso yet, Breakker will first lock horns with Cruz Del Toro in the initial round of the tournament.
As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that Bron Breakker isn’t the only star gracing the tournament. The first round promises exciting matches like Sheamus against Giovanni Vinci, Dragon Lee versus Tavion Heights, and Akira Tozawa battling it out with Riley Osborne. This tournament kicks off on October 16th during WWE Speed’s episode, and the winner will have a shot at challenging Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship. It’ll be intriguing to watch who emerges victorious and gets that coveted title match!
