As a passionate fan of Wuthering Waves, I can’t help but be in awe of the intricacies and attention to detail that Kuro Games has put into this game. The latest discovery by the community, a reference to a iconic MARVEL movie scene, is just another example of how this game continues to surprise and delight us.
Wuthering Waves offers a terrific gameplay experience with numerous intricate details from Kuro that are often overlooked. These minor yet significant details set WuWa apart from other games like Genshin, contributing to its unique world. Moreover, the game is rich in Easter eggs and references, including one beloved animation that mirrors a renowned scene from a Marvel film. Wuthering Waves enthusiasts are particularly fond of this homage.
Excited news for WuWa game enthusiasts: The long-awaited Changli banner has been released! This is the last banner preceding update 1.2, which promises to be substantial based on leaked information. Leaks suggest that this upcoming update will bring significant changes, with some fans expressing their gratitude towards Kuro for addressing community concerns. Another leak hints at a major improvement, something Genshin Impact followers have eagerly anticipated for years.
Anticipation runs high for update 1.2’s arrival, but we’ve got nearly a month left to endure the wait. Fortunately, the game is already terrific, and the Wuthering Waves community has recently unearthed an adorable MARVEL hidden gem – truly delightful.
Wuthering Waves fans notice MARVEL reference
On the r/WutheringWaves subreddit, user Dreisang posted with the title “Why this feels so recognizable to me” alongside a video of Varina engaging in combat against Scar.
As a fan, I was taken aback when I watched the clip, as it appeared that Scar forcefully shoved Varina into the ground multiple times and then carelessly threw her aside. Yet, what made this observation particularly intriguing was the uncanny resemblance to an iconic scene from Marvel’s Avengers movie, where Hulk brutally smashed Loki. I couldn’t believe my eyes as I noticed that the animations were strikingly similar – from the powerful slamming motions and directions, right down to the intricate details like the pauses and facial expressions.

In response to the clip, several comments express amazement at the hidden detail. One comment reads, “What a delightful find!” Another exclaims, “I’ve mentioned it before and I’ll say it again, this game never stops surprising us with its intricacies.”
Some comments express admiration, but a few point out the likenesses between this work and others. For instance, one comment reads, “I didn’t notice that before, rather unfortunate imitation pose for pose.”
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the majority of comments about this reference are positively glowing. A few, however, express some reservations. But let me clarify, it’s not an easter egg in the traditional sense where players uncover hidden content. Instead, we could call it a “replica” or “copy” because the animation bears a striking resemblance to something else.
Although it may appear to be a duplicate, it could instead be seen as a heartfelt homage. This animation brings joy, and considering the MARVEL film context, it enhances the encounter between the player and Scar during the boss fight.
