One of the stars from Spider-Man: No Way Home will be reprising their role in Wonder Man.
The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is set to introduce a new show titled “Wonder Man,” which has been developed by Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. This series is scheduled to debut on Disney+ in the remaining months of this year, with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II portraying the main character.
Who has joined the cast of Wonder Man?
Arian Moayed will reprise his role as Agent P. Cleary in Wonder Man, per Deadline.
Moayed’s character portrays a prominent figure within Damage Control, serving as an agent. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, this agent, named P. Cleary, delves into the circumstances unveiling Spider-Man’s hidden identity to the masses. Moreover, Agent P. Cleary is featured in the Ms. Marvel miniseries that debuted in 2022.
Moayed is recognized not only for his work with Marvel Studios, but also for his roles as Stewy Hosseini in Succession on HBO, Todd Spodek in Inventing Anna on Netflix, and various other characters in shows like Madam Secretary, Love Life, Nobody Wants This, among others. His film career spans titles such as Rock the Kasbah (2015), You Hurt My Feelings (2023), House of Spoils (2024), and Fountain of Youth (2025).
As a cinema enthusiast, I can’t help but share my excitement about “Wonder Man,” a heartfelt ode to the magic of filmmaking, acting, and the allure of Tinseltown itself. According to Deadline, this captivating tale centers around Simon Williams, a seasoned Hollywood actor (portrayed by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). The narrative unfolds as he finds himself immersed in the realm of superheroes, acquiring powers of his own, and transforming into the iconic figure known as Wonder Man.
Further story details remain under wraps at this time.
As a thrilled fan, I can’t help but share the exciting news that Ben Kingsley will once again bring Trevor Slattery to life in the upcoming series! This iconic character graced our screens in Marvel classics like Iron Man 3 (2014), All Hail the King (2014), and most recently, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), which was masterfully directed by Cretton.
Marvel Television’s Wonder Man is expected to premiere on Disney+ this coming December.
