"Women forced to endure severe embarrassment and unfair disadvantage" in MrBeast's New Show for Amazon, Contestents Now Suing

As a long-time fan who has grown up watching and appreciating MrBeast’s content, these allegations are truly disheartening and shocking. I have always admired his creativity, generosity, and ability to bring joy to millions of people through his YouTube channel. However, if the accusations against him and his team are true, it paints a very different picture.

The forthcoming reality show titled “Beast Game,” produced by MrBeast and Amazon, features 1,000 competitors vying for a massive $5 million prize. However, there’s been a legal dispute as contestants have filed lawsuits against both Amazon and MrBeast, alleging that the filming conditions were extremely harsh.

“It’s okay for the boys to be childish”

In a lawsuit brought against the production company of the show Beast Game by its participants, it is alleged that the YouTuber and his crew deliberately cultivated a disturbing and abusive work atmosphere. This was allegedly done under the guise of “empowering the boys to create content”. The lawsuit, available as a redacted version on Variety’s platform, claims that the company not only neglected to maintain standards, but actively “nurtured an environment riddled with misogyny and sexism”.

In addition to this violation, they are also under investigation for multiple offenses such as unpaid salaries, disregard for safety protocols, causing emotional turmoil, and neglecting meal breaks. From all reports, the show was a harrowing ordeal for participants, who were subjected to intense pressure, belittled, and exploited for entertainment purposes.

The lawsuit also mentions the recently leaked document, “How to Succeed in MrBeast Production,” which advises those who want to work for MrBeast to adopt an unprofessional attitude:

If talent wants to draw a dick on the white board in the video or do something stupid, let them… Really do everything you can to empower the boys when filming and help them make content. Help them be idiots.

As stated in the court case, this work culture was instilled on the Beast Games set, following instructions from higher-ups.

MrBeast himself has yet to comment on the allegations.

As a gamer, I must share some concerning news about an upcoming game titled Beast Games. Based on the recent accusations, it’s apparent that the participants weren’t given the essential hygiene facilities, and in one instance, a participant even had to be hospitalized due to these conditions. Given these shocking allegations, I have serious doubts about whether this game will ever see the light of day. It was initially planned for release at the end of 2024, but considering these distressing revelations, it seems likely that Amazon might decide to cancel the project altogether.
