It’s like a time-turner taking us back to my childhood, but with a twist of adult Justin Russo leading the charge. I can just imagine myself, broomstick in hand, flying back to 147 Waverly Place, ready to embark on this enchanting journey again!
As a dedicated fan of Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place,” I am beyond thrilled to learn about the upcoming sequel series and Selena Gomez’s return as Alex Russo! Growing up with this magical show, I can still vividly remember the excitement of each episode and the bonding moments I shared with my siblings while watching it together. The two-minute sneak peek video has brought back those nostalgic feelings, and I can’t wait to see what new adventures await the Russo family.
The Disney series revolves around an adult Justin Russo, who prefers a regular, human existence with his family consisting of Giada, Roman, and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to their home for assistance, Justin recognizes the need to reactivate his magical abilities in order to guide the aspiring wizard, all while balancing his daily commitments and ensuring the safety of Wizard World’s future. This is a brief summary of the series.

Who is in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place?
In this television series titled “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” the main characters include David Henrie portraying Justin Russo, Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo. For the first episode, popular actress Selena Gomez makes a special appearance as Alex Russo.
In this production, Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas function as both writers and executive producers, joined by other executive producers such as Gary Marsh, Jonas Agin, Gomez, and Henrie. Andy Fickman is in charge of directing the pilot episode and will also guide multiple episodes. The initial series, Wizards of Waverly Place, was masterminded by Todd Greenwald.
The sequel series will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ later this year.
