Growing up with Alex, Justin, and their enchanting escapades on Wizards of Waverly Place, I’ve always yearned for more. Now, with the official Wizards Beyond Waverly Place release date set for October 29, 2024, it feels like Christmas has come early!
Disney has formally announced the release date for the continuation series titled “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place”, following up on their popular original series from Disney Channel.
When is the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place release date?
The launch date of the new series, “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” has been scheduled for October 29, 2024. On this day, the initial pair of episodes will debut on Disney Channel. After making its premiere on Disney Channel, two more episodes will be aired on October 30, one of which is a special Halloween-themed episode.
Starting October 30, 2024, you’ll be able to watch the first eight episodes of the show on both Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand, just a day after they air. Additionally, Disney revealed that Raven-Symoné and Danielle Fishel will direct some episodes in Season 1.
In this show, “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” the characters include David Henrie as Justin Russo, Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo. For the debut episode, Selena Gomez will make a special appearance as Alex Russo.

In this production, Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas are both writers and chief producers, along with other executive producers including Gary Marsh, Jonas Agin, Gomez, and Henrie. Andy Fickman directed the pilot and will also direct several subsequent episodes. The show, Wizards of Waverly Place, was initially conceptualized by Todd Greenwald.
