As a seasoned gamer and binge-watcher of countless series across various platforms, I can confidently say that the disappearance of shows from streaming services has become as common as a level boss in a video game. The recent removal of “Hightown” from Starz has left fans scratching their heads, but fear not, fellow viewers!

It used to be that we didn’t anticipate original content vanishing from our streaming platforms. However, things have shifted now. The most recent series, Hightown, has mysteriously been taken down from its streaming home

It appears that Hightown and Heels, despite having a dedicated following, did not receive as much attention or garner as large of a fanbase as characters like Outlander (or Power) have

Starz has no intention of taking down shows that viewers are still enjoying. Since Power, which ended a while ago, is still available, there’s no reason to fret about Outlander. If they were planning to cancel the series, there wouldn’t be a spin-off produced

Outlander and Hightown are different production companies

This could be linked to the production companies. We know that Lionsgate and Starz are splitting ways. Hightown and Heels are both Lionsgate shows, while Outlander is a Sony series. This is going to be important when it comes to streaming homes. With Lionsgate parting from Starz, it could be taking some of the shows that were produced under its banner.

I’m not overly concerned that Outlander will be departing from Starz following its final episode, given that the finale isn’t expected until around 2026, which leaves us ample time before concerns become necessary
