Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 2 recap
As I sit down in front of my screen, ready to dive into the game’s latest episode, I’m transported back in time. It’s my first year at the academy, and I’m being taunted mercilessly by my classmates for my inability to wield magic. But then something unexpected happens – Principal Caldron recognizes my potential with a sword instead. In the present, I’m back in my supplementary lessons with Professor Workner, determined to hone my skills and prove them all wrong.
Simultaneously, Shion’s followers disseminated word of his victory against the sentinel throughout the school. Despite being troubled by it, Shion remains reluctant to believe that Will is capable of such an act. Edward confronts the principal regarding Will’s expulsion. However, the principal responds that Will’s academic record permits him to pursue any path he chooses. She grants Edward the right to administer any test to determine if Will should remain enrolled.
I’m a huge fan of this scene where Edward calls me over to the practice room in a hurry, ordering me to attack him or face expulsion. At the same time, Caldron summons Workner to observe the spectacle. With my heart pounding, I try to land a hit on Edward, who uses his magic to overpower me, leaving me defenseless and unarmed as I struggle to get close enough to touch him. What an intense moment!
In the heat of the competition, he queries Will about what fuels his determination, and Will discloses it’s his deep-rooted affection for Elfaria. Just as things get tense, Kiki and Colette make a timely entrance, handing Will his sword. He employs this weapon to shatter Edward’s shield and successfully completes the challenge. The episode concludes with Edward conceding defeat and bestowing upon Will five credits.
