Initially scheduled for a spring 2023 premiere, the film Devara: Part 1 was ultimately postponed to the latter part of 2024 due to production complications. Following the release of SS Rajamouli’s RRR in 2022, this upcoming movie directed by Koratala Siva will be the next film featuring Simhadri as its lead actor.
In this upcoming film, Jr NTR plays two roles – as father and son. This movie is described as an epic action tale, focusing on the story of a brave man named Devara, set against the scenic backdrop of a coastal area. As Devara embarks on a journey across the seven seas to safeguard his people, his bloodline hatches a plot to overthrow him, with his powerful legacy yet to be assumed by his timid son.
The film introduces Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor to the Telugu film industry as she stars alongside Saif Ali Khan, who takes on the role of the main villain named Bhaira. In addition to the principal actors, the movie boasts a talented supporting cast featuring Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and numerous others in significant roles.
From my perspective, I’m immersed in the preparatory phase for my upcoming film, codenamed RC16. This upcoming project is being masterfully directed by Buchi Babu Sana and promises to be a captivating blend of village backdrop, sports, and action. Notably, the talented actors Janhvi Kapoor and Shiva Rajkumar will grace the screens as the film’s main leads.
Additionally, you should know that the actor is gearing up for a return to the silver screen with his highly anticipated film titled Game Changer, helmed by director Shankar.
