As a dedicated fan of gripping crime dramas and captivating characters, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming third season of Will Trent! With Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez joining the cast and Ramón Rodriguez reprising his role as the titular special agent, this season promises to be nothing short of riveting.
Having grown up in the foster care system myself, I can relate to Will Trent’s desire to ensure that no one else has to experience the pain of abandonment he endured. The emotional depth and raw intensity that both Rodriguez siblings bring to their roles will undoubtedly make for a compelling viewing experience.
The trailer hints at new beginnings for Will, as he teams up with Marion Alba (played by Rodriguez) on a missing persons case. I’m eager to see how their dynamic unfolds and whether they can solve the mystery while navigating the complexities of their personal lives.
The addition of Ariana Madix from Vanderpump Rules and Scott Foley as Dr. Seth McDale adds intrigue and depth to the already impressive cast. I’m looking forward to seeing how these new characters intersect with Will and his team.
With Liz Heldens, Daniel Thomsen, Ramón, and Karin Slaughter at the helm, I have high hopes for this season’s storytelling. The fact that the first two seasons are available on Hulu gives me plenty of time to catch up before the premiere on January 7th at 8/7c.
In a world where so many shows lack substance and character development, Will Trent stands out as a beacon of quality storytelling. And let’s not forget the witty banter and dry humor that is sure to keep us entertained throughout the season – after all, laughter is the best medicine for even the darkest of mysteries!
In the freshly unveiled trailer for Season 3, Gina Rodriguez (known for Jane the Virgin and Not Dead Yet) appears as Will Trent for the first time, hinting at Ramón Rodriguez’s return as the lead special agent following the surprising ending of Season 2.
The police procedural series, derived from Karin Slaughter’s top-selling novels, follows Georgia Bureau of Investigation special agent Wilbur “Will” Trent. Having experienced a challenging upbringing in foster care, Will is committed to ensuring no one else experiences the kind of abandonment he did as a child.
What happens in Will Trent Season 3 trailer?
The preview focuses on the storyline following Will’s disappearance for six months, triggered by his arrest of girlfriend Angie (portrayed by Erika Christensen) towards the end of Season 2. Upon his return, Will embarks on fresh endeavors, joining forces with Marion Alba, played by Rodriguez, on a missing persons case. Despite not having moved past Angie after their ordeal, the trailer concludes with Will making it clear: “Let’s make no mistake, I am Special Agent Will Trent.”
