As a seasoned gamer and binge-watcher of countless web series, I must say that Trisha Krishnan’s portrayal of Brinda has truly left a lasting impression. The gripping narrative, combined with her powerful performance, made for an unforgettable viewing experience.
Recently, Trisha Krishnan assumed the part of an upright police officer in the latest streaming series titled “Brinda.” Currently available on SonyLIV, this captivating show has been winning over viewers and generating a great deal of affection. With its gripping plot, audiences find themselves unable to tear themselves away until the very end, leaving them anxiously awaiting news about whether a second season will be produced.
Apart from Trisha, the web series also features Indrajith Sukumaran, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsami, Jaya Prakash, and Rakendu Mouli. According to SonyLIV, here’s a summary of Brinda: “Brinda, a young, somewhat socially awkward but ethically sound SI cadet, comes across a gruesome murder with a chilling method of operation. As the killer manages to elude her, she encounters personal and administrative difficulties, yet the greatest hurdle is the moral dilemma that could shape her career and conscience.”
Trisha Krishnan’s Brinda will get a sequel?
Initially, the narrative follows a tale about a young girl named Brinda, who unintentionally becomes separated from her mother and sibling due to the fearful beliefs of their village people. Later on, we find Brinda in the role of an upright sub-inspector, diligently working on a string of gruesome murders. As it turns out, these killings share a peculiar trait, leading Brinda to probe deeper until she discovers a significant clue. Ultimately, this revelation unmasks her estranged brother, Satya, as the culprit behind the heinous crimes.
In a twist of events, it’s revealed that Satya, disguised as businessman Anand, harbors a grudge against all religious figures and attempts to massacre a large group. However, Brinda stands her ground and challenges him. Despite learning that Brinda is his long-lost sibling, he remains unyielding in his intentions. In the end, Brinda resorts to lethal force to protect herself and others, ending Satya’s life.
1. The final episode of Brinda concludes with the death of the primary antagonist, leaving little opportunity for a follow-up season. However, fans speculate that if the creators choose to prolong the show, they may introduce additional obstacles for its leading character or incorporate new characters into the narrative.
While the makers have not announced Brinda Season 2 yet, updates on the same are awaited.
