Will There Be a Blade 4 Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

As a long-time MCU fan with a soft spot for the immortal vampire hunter Blade, I can’t help but feel nostalgic and hopeful at the same time. With Wesley Snipes’ iconic portrayal of Blade and his recent cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine, it’s hard not to reminisce about the good old days. It seems like only yesterday when I first watched Blade: Trinity (back in 2004, if my memory serves me right), and now, we’re all left wondering if there will be a Blade 4 release date.

Fans of Marvel Cinematic Universe are excitedly asking if there’s a release date for Blade 4 starring Wesley Snipes, and whether it will indeed be released. Since Snipes made his memorable appearance alongside Deadpool and Wolverine, fans have been eager to see him reprise his role in his standalone movie. However, Marvel Studios is currently working on the Blade Reboot featuring Mahershala Ali, which has faced numerous setbacks such as a director leaving and a writers’ strike. Despite being planned for next year, fans are still hoping for another film starring Snipes.

Here’s all the Blade 4 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a Blade 4 release date?

As a longtime fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and particularly of the Blade character, I must admit my excitement is running high with the announcement that a reboot is scheduled for November 7, 2025. Having grown up watching Wesley Snipes embody the vampire hunter on screen, I can’t help but feel nostalgic for those days. However, having followed Mahershala Ali’s career closely over the years, I have no doubt that he will bring a fresh and compelling take to the role. With his versatility as an actor and his ability to bring depth and complexity to any character he plays, I am confident that this new iteration of Blade will not disappoint. I can only hope that the wait until 2025 is worth it!

Back in 2004, I was last seen kicking vampire butt as Blade in Trinity. But then, the Marvel Cinematic Universe threw fans for a loop by sneaking me into the Deadpool and Wolverine movie that Ryan Reynolds is leading. More recently, Reynolds shared an awesome shout-out to Blade on his X account (used to be Twitter).

Together with exclusive backstage images, he also requested the MCU to grant him a farewell film similar to Logan. His post states, “Neither the Fox Marvel Universe nor the MCU would exist without Blade pioneering the market first. He’s the Marvel Father. Help me spread the word for a Logan-style goodbye.”

At present, we’re unsure whether the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will grant fans’ and Reynolds’ desires. Nevertheless, given that the MCU is exploring the multiverse, there are numerous possibilities for his reprisal of Blade, possibly in a standalone film or even as a guest appearance in upcoming productions.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve got some exciting news! Snipes himself spoke up about the buzz surrounding the potential Ali-led Blade reboot and fans wanting him back. On Instagram, he jokingly responded to this clamor with “Y’all are crazy, haha!” However, we gamers will just have to keep our fingers crossed until Marvel Studios officially responds to Ryan Reynolds’ request for Snipes’ return.
