The film titled “Spirit,” featuring Prabhas as the main character and helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been creating quite a stir lately. Though there were rumors that production was due to begin in September of this year, it seems that might not be the case.
Prabhas starrer Spirit to delay shoot yet again?
As per a report by Gulte, it was initially anticipated that the film “Spirit,” starring Prabhas, would begin production in September 2025. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga seems to prefer Prabhas to be exclusively focused on this project during the filming period, so he reportedly wants him to finish any other commitments first before starting work on “Spirit.
It appears that Prabhas’ historical film, provisionally named PrabhasHanu, helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, won’t be completed by September this year. Additionally, it seems the star of Baahubali has yet-to-be-finished commitments in The Raja Saab project, which includes reportedly 3 songs and an action scene.
If director Sandeep Reddy Vanga continues with his current plan of continuous filming without taking on other projects, it’s highly probable that the movie “Spirit” won’t start production in September. However, it is important to note that this is a report and an official announcement from the producers has not yet been given.
About Spirit
The film titled “Spirit” features Prabhas as the main character and represents Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next project following his work on “Animal” with Ranbir Kapoor.
The movie is said to star the Saaho actor as a fierce young officer determined to dismantle an underworld organization. Originally, it was thought that Deepika Padukone would be the female lead, but because of difficulties during negotiations, the producers instead selected Bollywood star Triptii Dimri for her debut in Southern films.
Prabhas’ next
Prabhas is about to grace the big screens with his upcoming film, titled “The Raja Saab.” This horror-comedy tells the story of a young man who’s casually trying to make money by renovating an old family mansion. But things take a spooky turn when he comes across a ghost that haunts the house.
The film is scheduled to premiere on December 5, 2025, featuring talented actors such as Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar, among others, in significant parts.
