It seems that the Sandalwood actor might finally be granted bail and his wife has made elaborate arrangements for his swift exit from Bellary Jail, complete with a helicopter ride to avoid traffic congestion.

After spending 100 days in jail, Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa requested bail. However, the court postponed the hearing of his bail plea until September 27, 2024. Recent news from OneIndia indicates that he might be granted bail today. In preparation for this possibility, Darshan’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, has already made arrangements for her husband’s smooth release from court.

According to what’s being said, it seems Darshan Thoogudeepa’s wife has arranged a helicopter ride to ensure a quick exit when the actor is freed from Bellary Jail. This plan for an aerial departure is intended to prevent heavy traffic jams.

In relation to this matter, authorities from the Income Tax department recently interrogated Darshan Thoogudeepa in Bellary jail regarding the money found during the probe into the murder of Renuka Swamy. According to Hindustan Times, a high-ranking official stated that IT officials questioned Darshan about the source of approximately 85 lakh rupees that was confiscated during their investigation on Thursday.

The Income Tax Department questioned Darshan following allegations that he paid 30 lakh rupees to conceal the murder of Renuka Swamy and surrendered on his behalf. According to India Today, previous investigations found that Thoogudeepa had borrowed 40 lakh rupees from a friend to bribe other suspects to eliminate evidence related to the murder. Additionally, the Kannada actor admitted to this in a police statement as well.

For those who may not know, Darshan Thoogudeepa was apprehended in June due to his involvement in the gruesome murder of a woman named Renuka Swamy. It’s been reported that Renuka made disrespectful remarks about Darshan’s rumored partner, Pavithra Gowda, which provoked him to retaliate against Renuka. Alongside Darshan and Renuka, 15 others were also taken into custody in relation to the case.
