Although she didn’t delve deeply into the song’s details, she asserts that it captures the essence of Elphaba and her true identity.

In collaboration with others, I contributed to one of the latest songs, and it holds a significant place in my heart. During its filming, the whole team was moved to tears. I eagerly anticipate if the audience is prepared – it’s a tune that resonates deeply with Elphaba’s essence.

Upcoming: The movie adaptation of “Wicked,” directed by Jon M. Chu, penned by its book writer Winnie Holzman, is scheduled for release on November 21, 2025. This film version is derived from Gregory Maguire’s renowned novel and the award-winning Broadway musical.
