In November, the highly anticipated sequel to “Wicked,” titled “For Good,” will hit movie theaters in the United States once more. This time around, Jon M. Chu takes the director’s chair, while Cynthia Erivo plays Elphaba Thropp and Ariana Grande portrays Glinda Upland. Join us for another magical journey!

The fresh trailer for Wicked: For Good brings back popular characters from the Land of Oz, such as Elphaba, Jonathan Bailey’s Fiyero Tigelaar, Michelle Yeoh’s Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum’s The Wizard of Oz, Ethan Slater’s Boq Woodsman, Marissa Bode’s Nessarose Thropp, and Glinda.

When is the trailer for Wicked: For Good being released?

The trailer for Wicked: For Good will be released tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

It’s yet unclear if the 2024 Wicked film will match the global phenomenon status of its predecessor, the first movie, but it did generate an impressive $755.9 million at the global box office. Critics adored it and it was nominated for multiple Academy Awards, winning Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.

Prior to the release of “For Good,” Erivo and Grande are set to headline a unique Wicked event, taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles this autumn. Their co-stars from the movie and other unexpected guests will join them during this special occasion. The special will be broadcast on NBC in November, with it then becoming available on Peacock the day after.

Upcoming News: In U.S. theaters, the highly-anticipated film “For Good” from Universal Pictures will be screened on November 21, 2025. For those who can’t wait, the initial Wicked movie is already streaming on Peacock right now.
