Following an amazing show in Toronto on May 26, 2025, Shakira was geared up for a performance at Fenway Park in Boston. Unfortunately, fans hoping to see her live on May 29 felt let down as the concert had to be called off. Similarly, performances by Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn, who were scheduled for May 30, were also canceled.
According to Live Nation’s announcement to USA Today, the performances had to be called off because certain structural aspects of the venue fell below safety standards during routine inspections. They ensured everyone that all staff members are secure.
A spectator made a statement under Fenway Park’s post, asserting that an incident occurred involving the stage roof and one of the large screens. They mentioned that this occurrence happened quite recently, within just a few hours prior to their comment. The source of this information for the commenter is someone they are acquainted with who works at the venue. (Source: People)
