Before the Shark Tank show began filming, Corcoran got a call from a woman inviting her to join the program. Excitedly, she accepted and shared the news with loved ones that she was heading to Hollywood. However, just before she could start filming an episode, the producers notified her that they were assigning her position to someone else. Despite signing the contract, the producers decided to alter their decision.
After experiencing a moment of panic, Corcoran took a moment to compose herself and penned an email to Mark Burnett, the creator of Shark Tank. In her message, she highlighted how significant opportunities had come her way in the past following rejections. She concluded by expressing her hope that he would grant her the chance to compete for a seat on the show, and confidently stated, “I anticipate being on that plane on Tuesday.
