This week, the talk show is airing repeats of earlier episodes, which left some viewers puzzled and concerned. Given past instances where shows have been unexpectedly canceled by networks, it’s understandable that fans of “The View” might question whether the program has been discontinued.
Fortunately, viewers need not worry as The View will continue to air. It’s just taking a brief vacation during its regular weekly summer hiatus. The show is set to resume on Monday, July 7, 2025, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Additionally, it will carry on airing on ABC at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first occasion The View has had a weekly break. Back in April 2025, the show took a one-week vacation starting from the 14th of that month.
In the upcoming episode, we’ll see the return of our beloved co-host/moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, as she rejoins us after her vacation in Italy. While she was away, Joy Behar admirably stepped into the role of moderator for us.
In the past episodes, Behar mentioned Goldberg, saying, “Everyone is envious of Whoopi today as she’s in Italy – I hope it’s extremely hot. She’s currently in Italy collecting an award for her book Bits and Pieces, so she won’t be around this week.
