The decades-old feud between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian, once a notorious highlight of pop culture, has resurfaced in 2025. However, this revival isn’t due to a fresh news article or social media post. Instead, it’s the viral TikTok edits, fan analyses, and song lyric interpretations that have reignited interest in their long-standing dispute.

The events began in 2016, following Kanye West’s release of “Famous,” a song containing the line, “I made that woman famous.” This lyric alluded to Swift, and at the time, Kim Kardashian, West’s wife, defended the track by asserting that Swift had apparently given her approval during a phone call.
