On October 1, 2024, this trailer debuted and has gathered over 158,000 views up to now, leaving viewers speculating about its authenticity. However, it incorporates scenes from past Han Solo films as well as other Star Wars productions, and was published by the YouTube channel Darth Trailer, rather than Disney.

The trailer for Darth Trailer showcases that Han Solo, played by Alden Ehrenreich, and Qi’ra, portrayed by Emilia Clarke, will reappear together. However, the mystery of Darth Maul from the first film is not likely to be resolved quickly since Disney has not yet confirmed a sequel, due to the initial film’s underperformance at the box office.

Will Alden Ehrenreich return as Han Solo in Star Wars?

Although it’s uncertain if a Han Solo sequel will materialize, Alden Ehrenreich expressed his desire to reprise the role. During his Ironheart promotion at the D23 Expo in August 2024, he hinted that he would be open to returning for the appropriate rendition of the storyline.

Upon being asked about his willingness to return, Ehrenreich told Access Hollywood:

Sure thing! “Absolutely, under the right circumstances. You see, Han Solo is such an iconic character, and my story closely resembles his origins. By the end of the film, I got to truly embody the beloved Han Solo we all know. If the opportunity arises, it would be a blast to continue playing him and bring that character to life.

It’s uncertain if Alden Ehrenreich will reprise his role as Han Solo in future films. However, there’s a possibility that Disney might create a Han Solo series featuring him instead. Moreover, given his performance as Lando Calrissian, Donald Glover’s series could also provide an opportunity for Ehrenreich to return. At this point, though, no details about these projects have been officially announced.
