The spinoff focusing on Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former prosecutor transitioning to entertainment law, hasn’t been able to recreate the charm that made Suits popular among fans.
The original series concluded back in 2019. However, when it was added to Netflix in 2023, it experienced a significant boost in popularity, being crowned the most-watched show that year. This renewed interest led many to hope that Suits LA would capitalize on its predecessor’s triumph. Regrettably, the spinoff has failed to meet these high expectations.
Both critics and viewers have been vocal about their dissatisfaction with the show, as it has received poor ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, with a Tomatometer score of 39% and an audience score of 32%. Common comments include “The plot is good, but something just didn’t feel right,” and “It doesn’t even have any interesting characters.” Fans are already anticipating that Suits LA will be cancelled by summer.
