On one hand, it’s heartening to see him bouncing back professionally, with new projects like Merciless, Magazine Dreams, and his blossoming romance with Meagan Good. On the other, it’s a bit disheartening that we may not get to see more of Kang in the MCU anytime soon.

Speculation arises among fans if a comeback for Jonathan Majors’ character Kang from Marvel is imminent, following the dismissal of his federal lawsuit involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in March and his conviction of two misdemeanor charges in December 2023 for assaulting her in the backseat of an SUV.

This is because Marvel has already shifted away from the Kang storyline and restructured the fifth and sixth Avengers films, now focused on Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, rather than Doomsday and Secret Wars.

Due to a shift in focus from Kang to Doctor Doom at Marvel, Major was left feeling disappointed, a sentiment he later shared with TMZ.
