Additionally, it’s yet to be clarified how Lindstrom’s new position in Beyond the Gates might influence his responsibilities on General Hospital. The makers of General Hospital have yet to release any formal comments regarding Lindstrom’s role on their show following his casting for Beyond the Gates.
In the movie “Beyond the Gates,” Lindstrom takes on the character of Joey Armstrong. According to an interview with Michael Fairman TV, this character is somewhat of a businessman and casino owner. Lindstrom mentioned that Armstrong may not be fond of trouble but he’s adept at managing it when necessary.
Lindstrom decided to be part of the show mainly due to his high regard for Michelle Val Jean, the show’s creator, whom he praised for crafting his memorable Ryan Chamberlain/Kevin Collins character on General Hospital. “It’s common knowledge that Michelle is an exceptional writer,” he said. “Some might not want to acknowledge it, particularly if they’re another writer, but she is truly the top-tier talent in our industry.
Last month, the actor publicly commended Val Jean and applauded her for taking up the role of showrunner in the series through a post on Instagram.
Lindstrom isn’t the only veteran of soap operas who is joining Beyond the Gates. His former spouse, Cady McClain, who is well-known for her roles in All My Children, Days of Our Lives, and As the World Turns, will also be involved in the upcoming project. In this new role, McClain will portray Pamela Curtis. McClain has referred to her character as a cherished friend of Dani Dupree, played by Karla Mosey.
