He mentioned that shows like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel Live! might be next in the chopping block, with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon following suit.

Trump stated, “Jimmy Kimmel and Fallon are nearly out of the running for the Talentless Late Night Competition. He believes they lack any real skill and are ruining what was once exceptional television. He expressed his satisfaction at their impending departure, stating, ‘I’m glad to see them go, and I hope my involvement played a significant role in it!’

Kimmel responded to Trump’s remarks on Instagram with a post that read, “It seems like your turn is coming up. Or could it be another one of your secrets?

Kimmel’s comment about a “wonderful secret” alludes to an article published by The Wall Street Journal on July 17, 2025. This article speculates that Trump wrote a letter and included it in a birthday card for the late Jeffrey Epstein, who passed away previously. The letter reportedly contained several lines of text enclosed within a hand-drawn outline of a naked woman, presumably sketched with a marker. A pair of small curves represent the woman’s breasts, while Trump’s signature appears below her waist in a manner suggestive of pubic hair.
