The January 7th episode of our show was not broadcast at its regular time because a news special about the passing of ex-President Jimmy Carter took its place instead. Carter passed away on December 29, and his coffin has been brought to Washington D.C. for funeral ceremonies and services lasting three days, which is why the episode couldn’t air while we honor his memory.
Additionally, the destructive wildfires in Los Angeles and adverse weather signals affected the broadcast timetable. The official Instagram account of General Hospital acknowledged this delay and shared their sympathies regarding the crisis in LA.
