But I feel it’s time for me to explore my own rhythm and pulse again.
Back in 2018, I found myself stepping onto the American Idol stage alongside music legends like Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. Fast forward to April 2024, Richie shared an unexpected statement with People: “I have a feeling that as this journey continues, Luke and I might just conspire to whisk her away.” My exit from the show left fans in shock, given my flamboyant style and unwavering support for the contestants.
Perry announced that she had stepped away to devote time to other ventures, particularly new music. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she hinted at upcoming projects by saying, “I’ve been in the studio for a while now, so it seems something is brewing.” In July 2024, she unveiled her single “Woman’s World” from her album titled 143.
