2025 called, and it looks like our tour got scrapped, starting from April 23rd. Cities like New Orleans, Dallas, and Philadelphia were on the summer lineup, but unfortunately, we won’t be rocking out there. If you bought your tickets directly, keep an eye on where you purchased them for refund and ticketing details. Here’s hoping we can make it up to you soon!
This cancellation is a continuation of previous interruptions. On March 27th, Baker and Torres withdrew from an event at Ohio University because “one of our important team members suffered a concussion and needs several weeks to heal.” They also declined the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee that same month (as reported by USA Today).
On April 18, 2025, Baker and Torres unveiled their joint country album titled “Send a Prayer My Way,” which they had been working on for five years, with the collaboration starting during the COVID-19 pandemic when Torres texted Baker. In an interview with The Daily Show in March, Torres shared that she reached out to Baker because of their Southern roots, explaining, “Julien was the first person I thought of since she’s from Tennessee and I’m from Georgia, so it just seemed fitting.
29-year-old Baker initially garnered acclaim with her 2015 debut album titled Sprained Ankle. Furthermore, she is a member of the Grammy-winning ensemble Boygenius, which includes Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus. In 2024, Boygenius collected three Grammy Awards before announcing a break in February during an intimate Los Angeles show.
