As a die-hard fan of the original 28 Days Later, I must say that seeing Cillian Murphy‘s potential return as Jim in 28 Years Later has me absolutely thrilled! Having grown up with this franchise, it feels like coming home to see familiar faces and a world that still holds its chilling grip.

28 Years Later’s debut trailer is out now, and fans are guessing that Cillian Murphy might reappear in the sequel. In its initial footage, a thin, zombie-like figure is shown, with some viewers noticing resemblances to Cillian Murphy, especially given his role in Oppenheimer. This assumption could be plausible, considering director Danny Boyle’s past statements about the film.
