On July 19, Jimin of BTS unveiled the title track “Who” from his new album Muse. The captivating music video for this song sparked excitement amongst fans, with some believing that V (Kim Taehyung) made a surprise appearance in it.
After the “Face” era of Jimin from BTS, the singer made a comeback to the music industry with a fresh album boasting an impressive roster of artists as partners. Notably missing from the collaborator lineup were any other BTS members. However, keen-eyed fans detected a brief appearance by V in Jimin’s hit single “Who.”
Why do BTS fans think V (Kim Taehyung) has a cameo in Jimin’s ‘Who’ music video?
Prior to the release of Jimin’s “Who” music video, fans (ARMYs) spotted a hint suggesting V’s appearance in the video’s teaser. In this sneak peek, there was a billboard displayed with the phrase “slow dance records” visible behind Jimin.
In his debut album, Layover, BTS member V released a track called “Slow Dancing” as the title song. Similarly, Jimin from BTS has a song named “Slow Dance” on his album Muse, with Sofia Carson as a guest artist. Following the hint given in the teaser, eagle-eyed ARMYs noticed a brief appearance of V in the music video’s main scene.
Towards the end of Jimin’s performance in the “Who” music video, he croons, “Which one is my heart longing for?” Suddenly, a picture appears showing what seems to be V’s face. The image is adorned with the phrases “Persevere” and “WHO” in bold neon colors.

Fans have long recognized the strong friendship between V and Jimin in the fandom community. Moreover, this song climbed to the top of iTunes charts in more than 90 countries. The success of “Who” extended to the album sales as well, which reportedly surpassed half a million units according to Hanteo real-time chart on July 19.
