In this movie, Wendy works as a lifeguard at a swimming pool in the San Fernando Valley and serves as the love interest for Chauncey Leopardi’s character, Squints.
At the 20-minute point in the show, Jason announced they’d discuss The Sandlot the following week. This is where Travis brought up Wendy Peffercorn as a character he wanted to delve into. When his sibling labeled her as overrated, Travis retorted, “Nah, she was incredibly attractive!

Interestingly, Marley Shelton’s character in The Sandlot bears a strong likeness to Taylor Swift in one particular scene where she wears a red swimsuit and sports bright red lipstick.
