Discussing the film, L2: Empuraan focuses on the consequences of Kerala’s politics after Stephen Nedumpally stepped down from leadership. The upcoming installment will delve into the intricacies that arose during this gap in power.

As hostility increases and circumstances change, Kerala, fondly known as God’s Own Country, braces itself for the reappearance of the Devil, who is believed to bring back order. The movie represents the second part of the planned Lucifer trilogy, acting as a sequel to the 2019 film titled Lucifer.

This highly anticipated sequel brings back familiar faces such as Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, and Manju Warrier who reprise their roles from the initial release. To add to the excitement, newcomers like Abhimanyu Singh, Eriq Ebouaney, Jerome Flynn, and Suraj Venjaramoodu join the cast for this continuation of the story.

Moving onto Mohanlal’s upcoming projects, following his role in “Empuraan”, he is set to star as the main character in “Thudarum”. This film will be helmed by director Tharun Moorthy.
