They announced their engagement last year, and the 21-year-old NFL player shared during a press conference that he has been close friends with Jackson ever since they first met in the fourth grade.

Starks shared, “For nearly four years, we’ve been a couple. Over this time, I’ve given the idea of our future together considerable thought. I realized that I desired to spend my entire life with her. So, in my mind, it seemed logical to propose.

The player stated that since it was Jackson’s birthday, he arranged something special to make it even more memorable for Jackson.
