Back in May 2017, my life took an unexpected turn thanks to Ellen Moxley, a mutual friend of mine and country singer Jon Pardi’s mom. She thought we’d be a fantastic match and, after getting the green light from me, shared her number with Jon’s mom. After some text messages and phone calls, Jon invited me to one of his concerts. At first, I was hesitant about traveling to meet him, so I asked a friend to tag along for moral support. And as they say, the rest is history! (Credits to PEOPLE)
The gathering turned out to be an experience they’d never forget. Their initial date consisted of a concert at a rustic tavern followed by brunch the next day, where emotions ignited. For Jon Pardi and Summer, it was love at the very first glance. Summer expressed, “By the fifth minute of meeting Jon, I was already defeated.” Jon agreed, describing it as “love at first sight.
Over the years, our connection grew stronger, and in 2019, during a stopover of his Heartache Medication tour at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville – a place we had visited on one of our first dates together – he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Unfortunately, our initial wedding plans in Montana got postponed due to the pandemic, but in November 2020, under the beautiful Tennessee sky at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, we finally exchanged our vows.
Since that time, they’ve grown their family with the addition of two daughters – Presley Fawn born in February 2023 and Sienna Grace who joined them in July 2024.
