Who is Henry Samuel? All About Heidi Klum’s Son

Who is Henry Samuel?

Born in 2005, Henry Samuel is the teenage son of Heidi Klum and her former spouse, Seal. Twenty years later, he’s embarking on his own modeling journey. On March 17, 2025, this 19-year-old made headlines as the cover model for Hunger magazine, with a sneak peek of his photoshoot being shared on social media first.

On the magazine’s cover, Henry Samuel donned a stylish Karl Lagerfeld suit adorned with intricate patterns on both the jacket and trousers. In a casual yet confident pose, he tucked his thumb into the pants’ seam, showcasing his well-toned physique.

Just as any mom would be, Heidi Klum expressed immense pride upon seeing her son make his runway debut for the first time. She took to Instagram to share this joyous moment, accompanied by a heartfelt message.

I’m incredibly proud of you, Henry! Your first cover for @hungermagazine marks an incredible achievement! Witnessing your transformation into the remarkable young man you’ve become brings me immense joy. The world is finally catching a glimpse of what I’ve always known – you are destined for greatness! ❤️✨ I adore you, Henry @henrysamle.

In 2008, Heidi Klum shared that her kids had an extensive costume collection and loved immersing themselves in imaginative play. She additionally noted that Henry, then aged 3, felt comfortable donning various costumes, including his older sister’s princess gowns.

She added that there’s no issue with it, while admitting her preference for elegant dresses over “Buzz Lightyear.” (In this sentence, I tried to maintain the original meaning and tone while making it easier to read.)

During an interview with Good Housekeeping in 2011, the mother discussed again the unique sense of style that characterized Henry.

He often seems detached from reality, as if in a world of his own. One evening, we all went out for dinner, making sure to dress appropriately. Interestingly, Henry chose dinosaur-themed slippers to wear, which are typically impractical for walking. Yet, this unusual choice seemed perfectly normal to him.

Before strutting my stuff at the Paris runway opening for the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Show, I had a chat with Vogue Germany. We talked about the advice I got from my mom and sis, Leni, who’s also a model.

Leni instructed me to keep my gaze forward and stride as though I’m carrying a book on top of my head. My mom advised me to give it my all and remember to enjoy myself.

He further added,

I enjoy a variety of hobbies such as sports, music, movies, and fashion. My goal is to explore these diverse creative opportunities to discover the best route for my future.
