The results of a toxicology test revealed that several compounds, among them a mix known as “pink cocaine” (a blend of substances such as ketamine, methamphetamine, and MDMA), were present in his system at the time of his demise.
Three individuals, including a hotel staff member accused of providing Payne with cocaine twice, have been indicted by the Argentine prosecutor’s office for drug trafficking and negligent homicide. These charges stem from their alleged involvement in the singer’s death.
