At the end of SWAT Season 8 Episode 9, “Open Season,” a tribute is shown. This tribute is in remembrance of Jeremy Martinez and Robert ‘Robbie’ Redner, who were part of the show’s crew. Tragically, they passed away during the series’ holiday break.

Born on June 10, 1974, I proudly call Farmington, New Mexico my hometown. Spanning over two decades, my professional journey led me to serve as the second assistant accountant for SWAT across numerous seasons. Beyond that role, I’ve left my mark in various other TV series such as Colony, Secrets and Lies, Recovery Road, Agent X, Stalker, The Last Ship, and Rake.

In addition, Martinez held the role of a production assistant for various productions such as Lost & Found, Profiler, and Born Into Exile.

His exact date of death is unknown.

On January 5, 2025, Robert ‘Robbie’ Redner passed away at the age of 54. Much like Martinez, he had a 25-year career in Hollywood and worked on several well-known productions such as Mission Impossible III, Titanic, Castle, Rizzoli & Isles, Desperate Housewives, Charlie’s Angels, and Westworld. He held the roles of the series’ rigger and production lamp operator during this period.
