As a gamer following Boys Planet, I was bummed out when Hyunmin got eliminated in episode 8. But he didn’t let that stop him! He joined Mystic Story’s new group ARrc instead. Although my ranking in the competition was 48th overall, I’m now leading, rapping, and contributing to the sub-vocals of ARrc. Bring it on, gaming world! Let’s see what we can do together as a team.

The new project, ARrc, from the group is set to be introduced on August 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. Korean Standard Time (KST) and 5 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). Before making their official debut, they have already given fans a taste of what’s to come with the release of their song “Dummy.” The music video for this track quickly amassed over 360,000 views on YouTube, demonstrating the strong fanbase that ARrc has already built up.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but be transported back in time whenever I watch the “Dummy” music video. This masterpiece takes me straight to the heart of second-generation K-pop, with its nostalgic vibe that’s hard to resist. The visuals are a feast for the eyes, dominated by warm browns and soothing blues filtering through every frame. And let me tell you, the bass in this track is something else – it’s like being transported back to the 2010s when these sounds ruled the charts!

In recent years, ARrc’s experimental Korean pop sound has gained popularity, fitting well within the current music trend. From the get-go, their rap-heavy track displays the impressive rapping skills of its members. Additionally, the song carries a neo-pop feel, evocative of NCT’s distinctive K-pop genre.

As a longtime fan of K-pop, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about ARrc’s upcoming EP release. Having followed their journey since their debut with “Dummy,” I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next. The group has always been known for their meticulous planning and innovative concepts, so the fact that they’ve shared a detailed schedule for their EP premiere only adds to my anticipation.
