As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel like the cat that got the cream when it comes to the PS5 Pro. I’ve been through every generation of PlayStation consoles, from the original gray behemoth to the sleek and powerful PS4 Pro, and now it seems we’re on the cusp of another leap forward.
2024 saw an endless buzz surrounding the rumored PS5 Pro. Yet, despite numerous leaks and speculations, the recent State of Play event failed to disclose any updates regarding the upgraded version of the PS5.
Now, during Gamescom 2024, an anonymous developer spilled the beans about the upcoming console.
The PS5 Pro: Worst-Kept Secret Of All Time
A member of wccftech attended the Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany and uncovered some interesting news about the PS5 Pro.
A mysterious creator shared with them the blueprints of the upcoming PS5 Pro model, and they’re excited to disclose that the console seems highly capable of running Unreal Engine 5 with a significantly smoother performance compared to its previous version.
Additionally, they shared information that the developer associated with the Italian site Multiplayer postponed the game’s release due to the imminent debut of the PS5 Pro.
Following the swift release of the PS4 Pro soon after its unveiling, it’s possible that we might experience a comparable scenario with the PS5 Pro.
Regardless of the situation, it seems like we might need to be patient a while longer before Sony officially reveals the release date. Fingers crossed, let’s hope the wait won’t stretch too far for the big announcement.
