In the world of Telugu cinema, the fantasy drama genre hasn’t been extensively explored. Yet, this year promises a delightful experience as two movies falling under this category are about to be released. These films are Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara and Kannappa starring Vishnu Manchu.
In quick succession, these two movies display impressive individual qualities. Regarding more than just the famous actors linked with them, Vishwambhara and Kannappa will face off in terms of their visual grandeur on the big screen.
As for Vishwambhara, it’s the 156th movie of the iconic Megastar Chiranjeevi, whose exceptional talent and contributions to the Telugu film industry have earned him acclaim for many years.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to highlight that the film I’m following, directed by Mallidi Vassishta, boasts an impressive cast. Among them are Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ashika Ranganathan, and others who assume crucial roles in the production.
2025 can’t come soon enough for me, as I eagerly anticipate the cinematic masterpiece that UV Creations has in store! This movie is set to be a sonic symphony, thanks to the legendary MM Keeravani crafting its musical score. I simply can’t wait to immerse myself in the magic he weaves with his music!
Instead, Kannappa hails from the ancient tale about him, a loyal devotee of Lord Shiva.
Or more colloquially:
Kannappa comes from an old story, all about him being a super-fan of Lord Shiva.
In the leading part, Vishnu Manchu is highlighted, while Kannappa additionally showcases key performances by Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Madhoo, Mukesh Rishi, and Brahmaji.
Or simply:
Vishnu Manchu plays the main character in Kannappa, with significant roles for actors such as Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Madhoo, Mukesh Rishi, and Brahmaji.
Moreover, the movie has gained additional attention thanks to surprise appearances by renowned stars like Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal. This news has further fueled the anticipation amongst fans.
In this production, Vishnu Manchu personally crafted both the narrative and script, while his esteemed father, the seasoned actor Mohan Babu, took on the role of producer for the film.
Under the partnership between AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, a Telugu fantasy drama is scheduled for release in theaters on April 25, 2025.
