Where to watch MaXXXine (since it's not on Netflix yet)

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience in the realm of horror and suspense, I can confidently say that the anticipation for “MaXXXine” has been palpable since its theatrical release last year. Being a fan of Ti West’s X trilogy, I was eager to catch this movie on the big screen, but alas, life got in the way. However, as fate would have it, Max seems to be my savior in this situation!

In July 2024, MaXXXine premiered in cinemas and proved yet another blockbuster for Ti West’s X trilogy, raking in a global earnings of $20.9 million – the highest-grossing film of the series. Unfortunately, not everyone had the opportunity to catch it on the big screen then. However, if you missed out, there’s some exciting news for you!

In the future, you’ll be able to stream MaXXXine on a streaming platform called Max. The reason it’s on Max rather than another service is due to a partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery and A24. It’s important to note that MaXXXine is an A24 production, and Warner Bros. Discovery owns Max. As part of the agreement, any A24 films released in theaters will move to HBO Max, Max, and Cinemax after their theater runs have ended.

Where to watch MaXXXine (since it's not on Netflix yet)

Although an exact streaming date for the horror movie hasn’t been confirmed, it seems likely that it might be available on Max around November 2024. Our prediction is based on the pattern of when A24 movies have previously become available on Max, which is generally between 17 and 20 weeks following their theater premieres.

While our prediction suggests that Max might stream at this time, please bear in mind that it could potentially arrive earlier or later. As soon as the official Max streaming release date becomes available, we will be quick to share the news with you.

It’s possible that the horror movie “MaXXXine” could join Netflix’s collection someday. In fact, Netflix has previously picked up titles from A24, such as “Bodies Bodies Bodies” and “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” At this point, though, no information has been released about whether Netflix will secure the rights to show “MaXXXine.” Rest assured, if the movie does make it onto Netflix, we’ll be sure to keep you updated immediately.

At this moment, your best option to view “MaXXXine” is by either renting or buying it through online services like Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, or Apple TV.
