Where to find Wyverns – Destiny 2

Where to find Wyverns - Destiny 2

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours logged in Destiny 2, I can confidently say that Wyverns are some of the most elusive and formidable enemies in this game. These fearsome beasts have given me quite a few headaches over the years, but I’ve learned where to find them when the need arises.

In Destiny 2, wyverns are formidable enemies that seldom appear in quests for players to eliminate. But when a quest, bounty, or mission tasks you with locating and defeating a wyvern, it’s essential to know where to find them with ease.

Wyverns can be located in the Lost Sectors of Europa’s Perdition and Bunker E15. These areas offer the simplest ways to encounter them as Wyverns are guaranteed to appear in later rooms. Feel free to choose between the two based on your preference, with Perdition possibly having a more appealing layout for you, while Bunker E15 is closer to the fast travel point.

Vex-related activities often involve Wyverns. For instance, the Vault of Glass raid and The Glassway strike are two such examples, but keep in mind that they are rather lengthy engagements and you may only need to secure a few kills.

To subdue a Wyvern, consider the following options: You can bring it down with your Power weapon, eliminate it completely using a Super ability, or inflict severe damage by targeting its core. These creatures are hostile and will unleash Void damage relentlessly against you, along with attempting to crash dive and potentially knock you off edges. However, in Lost Sectors, they’ll only have red health bars, making it feasible to defeat them using standard weapons.

If you’ve successfully taken down your share of Wyverns, but now find yourself in need of seeking one out to defeat, you might draw a blank. However, a quick trip to Europa and completing a Lost Sector will have you encountering one in no time.
