As a seasoned adventurer with countless hours spent traversing fantasy realms, I can confidently say that the hunt for the three elusive bells in Black Myth: Wukong has been an exhilarating journey! The game’s immersive setting and challenging boss encounters have kept me on my toes, but finding these bells has added a new layer of excitement to my adventure.
Scattered in the initial zones of Black Myth: Wukong, there are three hidden bells. If you haven’t located them yet, the Whiteclad Noble will bring them up after you defeat him (a challenge not to be underestimated). Discovering these bells is significant because it’s a key step in acquiring your first Vessel power.
Where to find the three bells
After successfully overcoming three distinct bosses in Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll discover three bells right away. Ringing the final bell will whisk you off to a hidden location called the Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple. This temple also houses a shrine, allowing you to come back later should the boss within prove too challenging.
- Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest, after defeating Yaoguai Chief: Guangzhi
- Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail, after defeating Yaoguai Chief: Guangmou
- Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist, after defeating Whiteclad Noble
Bell 1
1. To locate the bell in Guangzhi, begin at the Forest Shrine’s exterior and walk straight along the path until you reach a tiny wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and maneuver around the cluster of rocks you encounter (keep an eye out for the Wandering Wight on your right). Follow the flickering torches to the stone gate between the rocks, where you’ll find the boss arena. Defeat Guangzhi first, then ring the bell by activating it.
Bell 2
After the battle against Guangmou in the Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail, you’ll find your next destination immediately. Begin at the shrine, then climb the stone steps on your right side. Cross over the wooden bridge, and jump to the left side of it, following the path that leads downhill. In the open area filled with skeleton enemies, hug the right-hand wall until you reach the boss arena. The bell is located up a set of stairs at the back of this arena.
Bell 3
After the battle with Whiteclad Noble, instead of entering the building, veer left towards the canyon to encounter some foes, a wolf suspended in a tree, and the bell located nearby.
Previously stated, your journey leads to a location titled Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple. Inside, you can gather some trinkets from a treasure chest and engage in combat with Elder Jinchi, who resembles the Wandering Wight boss you may have encountered within the Forest of Wolves. This is essentially an alternative version of that specific boss encounter.
After the trio of bells has been tolled, you’re off to your next hurdle in no time! For additional aid in gathering items, assisting NPCs, and, naturally, vanquishing bosses, check out our Black Myth: Wukong guide.
