I’ve been trudging through these enchanted landscapes for what feels like eons, and I must say, Memory Core 2 has been quite the conundrum. But fear not, for I have braved the Dormant N’Erudian Facility, navigated its treacherous depths, and emerged victorious with the elusive Memory Core 2 in my grubby little mitts!
In the game Remnant 2, you’ll encounter a variety of quest items, one that could leave some players puzzled is Memory Core 2. This distinctive item can be found on N’Erud and is essential for acquiring either the Core Booster Amulet or the Pulse Rifle. Here’s where you can find it and how to use it effectively.
Where to find Memory Core 2
In the Inactive Learning Sanctuary of N’Erud, you need to advance through the cave system until you reach the open area with handrails. Search for a section that appears incomplete and jump down to the lower level. Continue moving along the path to discover the Biome-Control Symbol on a bench. Bring this symbol back to the entrance of the cave and utilize it to unlock the door close to the World Crystal. Inside, you’ll find Memory Core 2. Additionally, this dungeon is where you can acquire the Siphoner Ability.
Where to use Memory Core 2
Memory Core 2 is situated beneath a clandestine chamber within Ascension Spire on the planet N’Erud. Accompany the NPC into the structure, but bypass the encounter with him. Instead, scrutinize the statue on your left; there should be a concealed entrance in the ground nearby. Descend through it and opt for the elevator on the right to reach a subterranean level.
At this lower level, there will be a central hub divided into three rounded areas. You can place Memory Core 2 in one of these sections to weaken the first force field. Depending on your situation, you may also be able to insert the Decorum Cipher into another section to weaken the second force field (or vice versa).
What you get for using Memory Core 2
Lowering the first barrier will reward you with the Core Booster Amulet, lowering the second will reward you with the Pulse Rifle. If your world roll has both Memory Core 2 and the Decorum Cipher, you can get both rewards; otherwise you will only get the amulet.
After locating and utilizing Memory Core 2, you can now either possess the Pulse Rifle or be on the verge of gaining access to it.
