In the first season of “Yellowstone,” we were introduced to Walker, a man with dreams of becoming a singer and a past criminal record. Despite his recurring role, he’s played a crucial part throughout all the episodes. At first, Wheeler hired him to manage Dutton Ranch. However, in Season 5 Part 1, he was sent back to Texas, leaving viewers curious about what happened next. With less screen time in this season, fans are eagerly waiting to see where Walker fits into “Yellowstone” Season 5 Part 2.

It remains unclear if Walker died in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2.
Previously, it was shared that the Dutton ranch could potentially be shifted due to their livestock being at risk from a dangerous illness called brucellosis. If this disease were to spread extensively, not only would cattle suffer, but also cowboys and ranchers might face extinction. Consequently, Rip Wheeler chooses to gather all his cowhands and transfer the ranch to Texas.
In the season premiere of Part 2, it’s revealed that Walker assists in transferring the ranch to Four Sixes Ranch in Texas. However, this move to Texas presents some puzzling questions because Walker is a former convict, and under his parole terms, he was not allowed to leave Montana. There could be two plausible explanations for how he managed to relocate, as suggested by The Direct.
Initially, it’s possible that he managed to persuade the parole officer due to the danger on the Montana farm he was at, potentially securing permission for a move. Another theory could be that since he worked for John Dutton’s ranch and held the position of Governor of Montana, he might have helped John to shorten his sentence. Nevertheless, these are mere assumptions, and future episodes should reveal where his storyline is going.
