Fans have noticed that Chandi Dayle, who is in her sixth year with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC), appeared less frequently on America’s Sweethearts Season 2. This has left viewers wondering about the reasons behind Chandi’s absence from the show during this season.
So, here’s everything we know about Chandi Dayle’s absence from America’s Sweethearts Season 2.
Why Chandi is absent from America’s Sweethearts Season 2
Chandi Dayle is no longer a part of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
On their team outing to the Bahamas, Dayle violated the rules and undermined her standing within the group. Upon their arrival back in Texas, it was discovered that Dayle wasn’t initially the leader of the squad. Head choreographer Judy Trammell dealt with the matter and declared that Chandi would have to step down. At the same time, Chandi also shared a heartfelt message, admitting she had been battling mental struggles.
In Season 2 Episode 7, titled “Saturn Returns,” Jada McLean provided a thorough explanation of the events that transpired regarding Chandi. She disclosed that Dayle was forced to resign from her position following an infraction during their Bahamas trip. Dayle had invited someone into her room, violating protocol, which put the entire squad’s safety at risk. Many team members were concerned for their well-being since they didn’t recognize this person. As Jada put it, “I think most of us wouldn’t feel comfortable being in a room with a stranger.” (via RadioTimes)
As a gamer, I’d rephrase it as: “KayDianna made it clear that our contracts explicitly forbid us from disclosing sensitive details. Details such as our location or the hotel we’re staying at could potentially endanger everyone involved.
Later on, Chandi shared her perspective, disclosing that she’d made a connection in the Bahamas – someone she found understanding for her past encounters. It is important to note, though, that their relationship was not of a sexual nature.
Despite briefly reuniting with her team, Chandi ultimately made it clear she will not be coming back to DCC. In a heartfelt declaration, she explained her departure while expressing her appreciation for the team and coaches. “I hold you both dear,” she said, “and I adore this organization. Thank you for being there for me during all the highs and lows. It was truly a sanctuary for me. I can’t wait to root for you from the stands!
Dayle ended on an optimistic note, expressing, “I believe I discovered my true self this year. I must admit, I definitely lost touch with who I truly am for a while. There was a period where I was afraid of not being myself without dance because it was such a big part of me and my safe haven. But now, I feel great.
