As a dedicated follower of Kannada cinema and a fan of Yash’s humble nature and exceptional acting skills, it’s always a pleasure to delve deeper into his thoughts and opinions about Bollywood stalwarts. It’s fascinating to see how his perspective has evolved over the years, from being initially critical of some performances to eventually admiring the talent of actors like Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor.
Yash stands out as one actor who truly lives up to the title of a beloved star across India. Renowned for his genuinely humble character, Yash previously offered some frank critiques regarding the acting skills of Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in their on-screen performances.
In an interview with ETV Bharat Films and TV in 2018, Yash shared some intriguing insights about two of his longtime peers, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor. Regarding Ranveer, Yash admitted that he wasn’t particularly fond of his movies until the actor achieved blockbuster status with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s projects.
As a fan who once remained indifferent to his talents, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s something about Ranveer Singh that’s caught my eye. It wasn’t until the magical collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Bajirao Mastani that I began to appreciate him. And oh boy, does he deliver in Padmavat! Simply amazing is all I can say.
Later on, Yash discussed Ranbir Kapoor and mentioned that he had seen the movie Sanju, along with some other works of his. Nevertheless, he didn’t fail to voice his opinion that he finds Ranbir, the star of Barfi, quite preoccupied.
In response to a question, the KGF actor stated, “I watched Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju and found him incredibly talented. I’ve seen much of his work, and he really shone in that role. Lately, I felt he seemed somewhat distracted, but in Sanju, he was exceptional.
Besides discussing this, Yash shared some insights on the Bollywood actors who have captivated him. Beginning with iconic figures such as Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, he declared these two as his favorite actors of all time.
Over the years, Yash has strived to maintain cordial equations with many Bollywood stars.
Regarding his professional endeavors, Yash is preparing for the launch of two upcoming projects: “Toxic: A Modern-day Fairy Tale” and “Ramayan”.
