What happened in One Piece Chapter 1143?
Chapter 1143 shared major details about the powers that the two new Holy Knights on Elbaph possess.
In the opening of “The Tale of God’s Chevalier,” we are introduced to the extraordinary abilities of Saint Sommers and Killingham. According to the account, Sommers has consumed the Thorn-Thorn Fruit, granting him the unique power to retaliate against his adversaries by launching thorn attacks once they approach his intended targets. Meanwhile, Killingham possesses the powers stemming from the Dragon-Dragon Fruit, which he utilized on the pupils of Walrus Academy. This chapter unveiled that Killingham’s abilities allow him to manifest objects within a person’s dreams into tangible reality, as demonstrated by his ability to animate the artwork at the school.
In Chapter 1143, Killingham displayed his abilities by turning the salt that appeared in Sommers’ dream into reality. The setting then changed to the encounter between Loki and Luffy. Luffy, using only half of his power, strikes Loki, resulting in him losing consciousness.
According to Zoro’s interpretation, Loki was already in a vulnerable condition, making it difficult for him to withstand a blow. Following this, Luffy requests Gerd to tend to Loki, who eventually consents after showing initial reluctance.
Towards the conclusion of the chapter, Hajrudin makes it clear that he intends to avenge his father’s death by targeting Loki. Yet, it appears that the prince suddenly wakes up and denies any intention of killing Hajrudin’s father.
